or problem. It costs nothing yet. You may receive e-mail requesting clarification; just
answer any questions. The solution will be e-mailed to you in a secured document. If you
already figured out the answer, just delete the e-mail and pay nothing! Otherwise, simply
open the attached package and follow the directions to receive an unlock code using your
credit card. What could be easier?
If the solution to your problem requires software patches or updates from a software
manufacturer, it will be included with the solution package (if possible) or directions
will be given on how to obtain the needed files. If the solution to your problem involves
hardware, you will be given at least one suggested source for the item.
See below for descriptions of each OnLine Consulting request level. If you choose a
lower level than needed when submitting your request, you will be notified and given the
opportunity to accept or decline the change to the proper level. If you choose a higher
level than needed, you will only be charged for the lower level when you unlock the
solution.

- If your question or problem is related to a single piece of hardware or commercially
available software (including and versions of Microsoft Windows), this is all you need.

something with a specific piece of software. This is also the proper level to start a
broad problem like your PC keeps locking up or you can't print from a certain application.
Even though these problems involve more than one area (lockups can be related to several
issues, and printing problems involve at least the printer, the software that is printing,
and the Windows Operating System). Since these types of problems are somewhat common, the
solutions are discounted.

- If your question or problem relates to more than a single area, or if you need advice on
what hardware and/or software packages you need to solve a problem, submit your OnLine

- You may need help integrating data from a database somewhere into another application.
Maybe you are having a problem getting a report to print properly on your laser printer.
Perhaps you need to connect a couple of PC's together to share documents. This level is
for you.

- If you need advice on choosing, installing or upgrading business solutions, submit your
OnLine Consult Request here and get your answer for only $289.

- If you want to put multiple PC's on a network and use e-mail, share printers, documents,
etc. this is where to begin. A typical request could be, "What are my best choices
for hardware and software? What will I need to buy, how much will it cost, and where can I
get it?" You may wish to submit another Systems Consult after you get your equipment,
such as, "I have this hardware. I need a set of overall directions - what do I have
to do to get to the end of the road?" The solution to this request would include
directions on what to set up first, which areas of software need configuration, how to get
network cabling installed, where to look for help files, and some general advice on
security.
